The mildest
forms of Autism Spectrum Disorders often appear similar to language delays
and learning disabilities. More severe forms may include repetitive
behaviors, aggression, and self-injurious behaviors. It is important to
distinguish autism from other disorders since incorrect diagnosis may result
in ineffective treatments.
